Meet Dr. Andrew E. Bertagna
Oral Surgeon in Milwaukee
Dr. Andrew E. Bertagna was born and raised in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago. He received his bachelor’s degree in Biology with a minor in Chemistry from Indiana University in Bloomington, IN. Upon graduation from Indiana University, he went on to receive his Doctor of Medicine in Dentistry (D.M.D.) from The University of Illinois-Chicago College of Dentistry and was inducted into the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Dental Honors Society (OKU).
Dr. Bertagna remained at The University of Illinois to complete his 6-year, dual degree residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, an internship in general surgery, and his Doctor of Medical (M.D.) degree. During his time in residency, he received extensive training in dentoalveolar surgery, ambulatory anesthesia, implantology, corrective jaw surgery, TMJ surgery, and maxillofacial reconstruction. Dr. Bertagna is Board-Certified and a Diplomate of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is also a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the Internal Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, the Chalmers J. Lyons Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, and the American Medical Association.
Growing up, Dr. Bertagna spent his summers vacationing in southeast Wisconsin and is excited to be calling the area home. He is particularly looking forward to exploring all the abundant outdoor activities the greater Milwaukee area has to offer.
