Meet Dr. Bret M. Waligora
Oral Surgeon in Milwaukee
Dr. Bret M. Waligora is originally from Alpena, MI, and attended the Lyman Briggs College of Michigan State University where he completed his undergraduate studies in Human Physiology. He went on to the University of Detroit Mercy School of Dentistry to complete his Doctorate of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree. After finishing dental school, Dr. Waligora completed a one-year internship in oral and maxillofacial surgery and then a four-year residency program in 2020 in oral and maxillofacial surgery at the Medical College of Wisconsin.
Dr. Waligora is Board Eligible for the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery. He is also a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, Wisconsin Society of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, and the American, Wisconsin, and Greater Milwaukee Dental Associations.
Dr. Waligora participates in continuing education programs to provide the most up-to-date and quality care for his patients. He belongs to the Third Coast Study Group – a chapter of the Seattle Study Club – with 30 area dentists and specialty members.
Dr. Waligora is currently on staff at Elmbrook Memorial Hospital, Columbia St. Mary’s – Ozaukee Campus and Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin.
In his free time, Dr. Waligora enjoys spending time on the water in the summer. He enjoys watching hockey, soccer and college football. He and his wife have moved to the north shore area and are excited to start a family.
