Meet Dr. DeLaura
Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeon in Milwaukee
Dr. Taylor L. DeLaura attended the University of Colorado in Boulder for undergraduate studies in Molecular, Cellular, & Development Biology and The Classics. She then attended dental school at the University of Pennsylvania (DMD) and continued her education with their six-year integrated MD/Oral & Maxillofacial Surgery Residency (OMFS). During her residency she received her MD from the University of Pennsylvania Perelman School of Medicine (MD), and completed service time in general surgery, anesthesia, and full-scope Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery.
Dr. DeLaura loves all aspects of oral surgery, but her primary interests include wisdom teeth removal, benign pathology, corrective jaw surgery, and dental implant surgery.
Dr. DeLaura received the Penn OMFS Chair’s Standing Ovation award at the conclusion of her residency program and is a candidate for ABOMS.
Dr. DeLaura is on staff at Elmbrook Memorial Hospital, Columbia St. Mary’s – Ozaukee Campus, and Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin.
While Dr. DeLaura is a Colorado native, she has loved getting to know Wisconsin and all the outdoor activities it has to offer. She and her husband enjoy spending their free time cooking, hiking, and listening to podcasts (she’s always taking recommendations).
