Meet Dr. Philip L. Hawkins
Retired Oral Surgeon
Dr. Philip L. Hawkins attended Marquette University (undergraduate – Biology) from 1972-75. He went on to attend Marquette University School of Dentistry. Dr. Hawkins completed a General Practice internship at the Clement Zablocki V.A. Medical Center, and his residency in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery at Gunderson Clinic / LaCrosse Lutheran Hospital in La Crosse, Wisconsin.
Dr. Hawkins is an Assistant Clinical Professor in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (OMFS) at Marquette University School of Dentistry. Dr. Hawkins is the founder and a member of two study groups including the Third Coast Study Group – a chapter of the Seattle Study Club.
Dr. Hawkins is a member of the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is Board Certified and a Diplomat of the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, a member of the Wisconsin Society of OMFS and the American, Wisconsin, and Greater Milwaukee Dental Associations.
Dr. Hawkins is on staff at Childrens Hospital of Wisconsin, Elmbrook Memorial Hospital and Columbia St. Mary’s Ozaukee.
